Scotland is an increasingly multicultural society, diverse in cultures from , Asia and Eastern Europe. The aim of this project is to understand the diversity of British culture past and present, and the historic make up of our land and inhabitants.  By using props and historical texts from the Roman occupation, Scots migration and the Viking invasion children will learn about how languages and beliefs have shaped the United Kingdom. Asylum and economic migration are not new human activities.  Using examples and props from past migrations will help contextualise and promote understanding of how this behaviour affects and enriches the host country. The project aims to show how migrant peoples have long been and continue to be hugely important in the social, economic, technological and cultural makeup of the UK.                 Copyright ©    Currbox
